Steve Masse
Dean of Students
As Dean of Students, Steve is broadly responsible for fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive campus environment that is conducive to students’ intellectual pursuits and academic success. He oversees programs and services designed to enhance the co-curricular experience of students and directs all aspects of the residence operation. Working alongside efforts of the College’s student societies and course unions, Steve serves on numerous University-wide committees engaged in the review, development, and implementation of policy as it relates to the student experience on campus.
Steve is always happy to hear from students who wish to share their thoughts, ask questions, or raise concerns.
The Information Technology Specialist is responsible for the management of the Residence’s student and staff computer networks. He provides user support for both hardware- and software-related issues.
The Facility Manager is responsible for the necessary day-to-day maintenance repairs of the Residence. The Facility Manager also coordinates and oversees all of the buildings large-scale maintenance projects.

Innis College Residence Dons
The role of the Residence Dons (“Dons”) at Innis College is diverse and comprehensive. Dons are student staff who actively engage in forming and developing a sense of community in the Residence that is supportive of students’ holistic success while studying at the University of Toronto. Further, they serve as role models for residents and the broader student population of Innis College and the University of Toronto. The Dons are responsible for supporting residence students, for upholding the policies and community values of the Residence, ensuring safety and security, and for encouraging, developing and implementing activities, events, and programs under the direction of the Office of Student Life.
