This section is dedicated to making the most of your time at residence, while remaining safe in the building and on campus. This includes information on maintenance, cleaning, Internet connection, and personal safety.
In the event of an emergency, call 9-1-1 or call the Front Desk on the intercom to call Emergency Services. Depending on the Nature of the Emergency, this will bring the Fire Department, Toronto EMS, Toronto Police Service, and/or Campus Community Police. Your Don will also be notified to assist you.

Never mix two chemicals when cleaning your suite. Doing so can reduce their effectiveness and may release highly toxic gases.
Are you experiencing a serious health issue or pest problem in your suite? File a Maintenance Request at Front Desk to receive prompt assistance from Residence Maintenance Staff.
When you need to mop your floors, soak the mop for 20 minutes prior to use, in a mixture of hot water and cleaning solution.
If your vacuum is not working properly, make sure the vacuum bag is empty and check that the hose is not clogged. If you need a new vacuum bag, just ask the Front Desk.
