Residence Dons are responsible for community building, maintaining community standards, and implementing educational activities and events for students. Dons are expected to support the academic achievement and personal development of residents by fostering a vibrant living‐learning community that is safe, inclusive, and cooperative. The Residence Dons work closely with the Assistant Director, Residence Life and other residence staff to contribute positively to the student experience.

The Innis Residence Front Desk is a 24-hour operation, and is vital in ensuring the smooth operations of Innis Residence. The Front Desk acts as a reception desk for the Office of Student Life, a resource centre for the residents of the building, and an information desk for visitors to the University.

The Innis Residence Maintenance Assistant works closely with the Facility Manager to ensure that the building remains in a good state of repair, escalating any issues that arise to the appropriate staff member. The Maintenance also works closely with Residents to quickly address minor maintenance issues.

The Innis Residence IT Assistant works closely with the Information Technology Specialist to address any IT issues that arise in the building. The IT Assistant is responsible for AV in the Events Room, and works with students to troubleshoot minor computer and connectivity issues.

Get Involved with the Office of Student Life Community Development Team! The team, made up of both staff, and volunteer roles, provide expanded leadership opportunities and encourage personal growth of Innis College students. Volunteer on one of our many committees, or apply for a paid position as a Team Lead or a Communications team member.
